NGO Darpan is an initiative launched by NITI Aayog in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to facilitate seamless interaction between Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Voluntary Organizations (VOs), Government Departments, and Ministries. Registering under NGO Darpan allows NGOs to receive updates on government grants and other benefits.

To promote transparency and efficiency, the Government of India has developed a centralized portal where NGOs and VOs can easily register. This ensures a well-maintained database that supports social welfare activities across the country.

Overview of NGO Darpan Registration

NGO Darpan serves as a bridge between NGOs, VOs, and key government bodies, providing them with access to vital information and funding opportunities. It is a free facility offered by NITI Aayog to promote accountability and ease of governance.

During challenging times, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, NGOs played a crucial role in providing meals, healthcare, and basic facilities to underprivileged communities. A major portion of their funding comes from government schemes and grants, which makes NGO Darpan registration essential. Through this platform, NGOs can stay informed about various government schemes, funding opportunities, and policy updates.
