IEC Registration Process

IEC registration is a completely online process that can be completed in a few simple steps:

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Visit the DGFT website.
  2. Navigate to Services → IEC → Online IEC Application.
  3. Enter PAN to proceed.
  4. Verify PAN details and click on “Search”.
  5. Enter Business Details for PAN verification:
    • Name (as per PAN)
    • Date of Birth/Incorporation
    • Captcha Code
  6. Click Submit (Incorrect details will lead to authentication failure).
  7. Upon successful PAN verification, click on Proceed.
  8. Register with email and mobile number, then Generate OTP.
  9. Enter OTP received via email and SMS, then click Submit.
  10. Enter Entity Details:
    • Business Name & Address
    • Contact Details
    • PAN, Date of Incorporation
    • Business Type (Proprietorship, LLP, Pvt Ltd, etc.)
